of Westminster, Carroll county, State of Maryland.

The Committee on Finance was permitted to withdraw to
the Committee Room, for the consideration of business before
said Committee.

On motion by Mr. Phelps, it was

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that the Sen-
ate Bill, No, 205, imposing a tax on dogs, was ordered last
night to be engrossed, in the absence of the Senator for Dor-
chester county, had he have been present, he would have
moved to exempt his county from the operation of said Act.
