bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 806, of Article IV.,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the city of Bal-
timore," entitled "Police," and to re-enact in lieu thereof
another section as section 806.

Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.
On motion by Mr. Brattan,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Pro-
ceedings to introduce a bill adding a new section to Article
LI., Code of Public General Laws, to follow section 45, to
provide for the supersedeas of judgments of affirmance, or de
novo judgments, on appeal from Justices of the Peace.

Senate bill entitled an Act, supplementary to an Act pass-
ed at January Session, 1867, chapter 247, entitled "An Act
to establish and incorporate an Asylum for the Deaf and
Dumb," and also an Act passed at January Session, 1868,
chapter 409, entitled "An Act to amend and add additional
sections to the Act of 1867, chapter 247, and relating to the
Deaf and Dumb Asylum ;"

Being on second reading,

V On motion by Mr. Fields,

Further consideration thereof was postponed until Tues-
day, 27th instant, and made the order of the day for 1 o'clock.

Senate bill entitled "An Act for the relief of Bank of Com-
merce, cancelling 3,800 shares in the capital stock thereof,
representing a portion of the assets, and reducing the par
value of all other shares in its capital stock, "

Being on second reading;

Mr. Fields moved to postpone the further consideration
thereof, and that the bill be printed.

Which was adopted.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Frederick
City Superphosphate Manufacturing Company,"

Being on second reading,
On motion by Mr...Fields,

Further consideration thereof was postponed, and said bill
made the order of the day for 2 o'clock, on Tuesday, 27th
instant.
