Ordered, Tha* the- Secretary of the Senate cause all Senate
Bills to be printed a»d laid upon the desks of Senators, be-
fore their second reading.

Which order,
On motion by Mr. Earle,

Was referred to the Committee on Printing, with instruc-
tions to report at an early day.

Senate bill entitled "An Act relating to Auctioneers in
Baltimore county,"

Being on Second reading;

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment :

Strike out all after the word "Collected," in the 4th line,
section 3.

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 146 of article
16, of the Code of Public General Laws, title 'Chancery, Testi-
mony and Witnesses,' authorizing Commissioner taking testi-
mony in Chancery to issue attachments against witnesses ne-
glecting to attend the same and to re-enact the same with
amendments,'

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrosed for a
third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to grant donations to Garrett
county, for the use of Acadmies and Schools,"

Was tead the second time and ordered to be engrosed for a
third reading.

Mr. Earle, submitted the following messsage to the House
of Delegates :

BY THE SENATE,

January 22nd, 1874.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message informing the Senate of
your disagreement to our action on the Joint Resolutions of
your Honorable Body on the subject of the Taney Statue and
of your adherence to the Joint Resolutions of your own
Honorable Body, we also adhere to our action and propose
