Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Agriculture, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to promote uniformity in
the size and dimensions of peach and other fruit boxes or
crates.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Brattan, from the Committee ou Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported unfavorably on

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick, to
subscribe to the capital stock of the Frederick and Pennsyl-
vania Line Rail Road Company, and to endorse the bonds of
the said Company.

Mr. Stevens moved to substitute the bill for the report.

Which was rejected.

The unfavorable report was then adopted.

Mr. Phelps, from the Committee on Internal Improve-
ments, reported favorably on

The House bill entitled an Act to establish and maintain
free turnpikes, highways and bridges, within the proposed
extended corporate limits of Baltimore city.

Which was read the second time.
Also, reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act to remove all Gates from
the Public Roads in Prince George's county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, from a Select Committee, reported favorably on

The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Harford
Savings' Bank, of Harford county.

Which was read the second time.

The following Acts of Assembly were this day presented to
his Excellency, the Governor, for his approval:

No. 109. Au Act to authorize the Clerk of the Commis-
sioners of Somerset county, to administer oaths in certain
cases.

No. 110. Au Act to extend the charter of the New York
Mining Company.

No. 111. Au Act to extend the charter of the Borden
Mining Company.
