Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at
January Session, 1872, chapter 234, entitled an Act to tax
gross receipts of Rail Road Companies in this State, for State
purposes, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
add the same to Article LXXXI. of the Code of Public
General Laws of this State.

Which was read the second time.
Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Treasurer
of the State to pay to Wm. H. Collins, a sum of money for
services rendered in the Tobacco Warehouse No. 5.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
vorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Charles Clag-
gett, James T. Perkins, (assignee of the National Bank of
Baltimore,) and G. C. and R. H. Hyatt, for the benefit of
R. D. Burroughs, W. J. Beall, Wm. J. Berry, and others,
and to Daniel Clark, and Daniel Clark, Administrator of
Wm. D. Clark, monies erroneously paid by them to Tobacco
Inspectors in Baltimore city, for outage and storage.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of St. John's
College.

Which was read the first time.

Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to enable the Faculty of Physic of the University of
Maryland, to build a Hospital.

Which was read the first time.
Also,

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Estate
of James Spicer, and the surities of his bond as tax collector
for the years 1850 and 1851.

Which was read the fist time.
