Leave was granted to the Senators from Baltimore city to

Strike out the words "out of their number to be," on the
23rd line of the first section, and insert the letter "a" in
lieu thereof.

Mr. Brattan submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 22, strike out the words "he shall be a
married man and his family shall reside with him."

Strike out after the word "same" in the 9th line, to the
