The question again recurring upon the amendment,

It was rejected.

Mr. Williams submitted the following amendment:

Strike out after the word "persons" in line 4, to the words
"of the" in line 5.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Fields moved to reconsider the vote by which the first
clause of the amendment proposed by the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries, was adopted, viz : so
far as the same relates to the Wicomico River.

Which was adopted.

The vote recurring upon the said amendment,
It was rejected.
On motion by Mr. Williams,

The vote was reconsidered by which the amendment was
adopted, relating to the Patuxent River.

Which was adopted.
Mr. Williams then,
(By unanimous consent,)
Withdrew his proposed amendment.

The question recurring upon the passage of the bill, as
amended.

It was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
