EVENING SESSION.
WEDNESDAY EVENING, March 25th, 1874.

The Senate met

Present the following Senators :

Messrs. President, Aydelott, Blake, Brewer, Billingsley,
Brattan, Claggett, Davis, Denson, Earle, Fields, Longwell,
Lloyd, McCulloh, Stevens, Steiner, Spencer, Suit, Williams,
Walsh—20.

The President announced the unfinished business, being
The Oyster bill.

Mr. Fields moved to postpone the unfinished business until
12 o'clock, to-morrow.

Which was adopted.

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

The Senate proceeded to the consideration of bills on second
and third reading.

Mr. Williams moved to reconsider the vote by which Mr.
Claggett's motion to proceed to the consideration of bills on
second and third reading was adopted.

Which was adopted by yeas and nays as follows :
