Mr. Brattan submittted the following amendment:

Section 15, line 18, add the words, "Provided, the Court
or jury trying the same shall be convinced that the provisions
of this section have been intentionally violated."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment :

Section 15, line 16, insert after the word "not," the words
"less than fifty nor."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment:

Strike out in section 14, line 3, the words, "exceeding fifty
dollars," and insert, "less than fifty and not more than five
hundred."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment:

Section 7, line 6, insert after the word "not," the words
''less than fifty nor."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment:

Insert "less than fifty nor," at the end of line 8.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Brattan submitted the following amendment:

"Strike out all of section 16."

Which was adopted.

Mr. Williams submitted the following amendment:

Section 17, lines 15 and 16, strike out all after the word
"prevent" in line 15 to the words "the citizens" in line
16.

Which was adopted.

Pending the further consideration of the said bill,

Mr. Fields moved to adjourn.
