Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance.
On motion by Mr. Earle, it was

Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal, that had Sen-
ator Earle been present at the time the vote was taken on the
bill known as the "General License Law," his vote would
have been given in the affirmative.

Mr. Brewer, from the Committee on Elections, submitted
the following

REPORT.

The Committee on Elections respectfully report, that they
have examined the returns of the Judges of Election of the
several counties and the city of Baltimore, and find the fol-
lowing duly elected members of the Senate for the constitu-
tional term of four years, commencing on the — day of No-
vember, 1873 :

Allegany County—Thomas G. McCulloh.

Baltimore City—2nd Legislative District—Francis P. Ste-
vens.

Caroline County—Daniel Fields.
Cecil County—Wm. M. Knight.
Charles County—George D. Mudd.
Dorchester County- Francis P. Phelps.
Garrett County—Wm. R. Getty.
Harford County—John Carroll Walsh.
Montgomery County—Nicholas Brewer.
Prince George's County—S. Taylor Suit.
Somerset County—Robert F. Brattan, (for two years.)
St. Mary's County—Chapman Billingsley.
Talbot County—Edward Lloyd.
Worcester County—Wm. J. Aydelott.
