Mr. McCulloh, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly on

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 2
of Article I. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Al-
legany County," sub-title "Alms House."

Which was read the second time.

The following Acts of Assembly were this day presented
to his Excellency, the Governor, for his approval:

No. 99. An Act to compensate Charles E. Hayward, Sewell
T. Milbourne and John W. Crisfield, for professional ser-
vices.

No. 100. An Act to amend the charter of the city of Cum-
berland.

No. 101. An Act authorizing the Commissioners of Cecil
county to increase the compensation of the Sheriff.

No. 102. An Act in relation to the publication of County
Expenses in Caroline county.

No. 103. An Act making an additional appropriation to
Washington Cemetery in Washington county.

No. 104. An Act authorizing the indexing of certain Land
Records in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Worcester county.

No, 105. An Act authorizing the appointment of an ad-
ditional Justice of the Peace for Dorchester eounty.

No. 106. An Act to authorize the building of a bridge over
Wetipquin creek in Wicomico county.

No. 107. An Act to appropriate a sum of money to pay
Wm. Knabe & Co., for a Piano supplied to the Executive
mansion.

No. 108. An Act relating to Justices of the Peace and Con-
stables, in Carroll county.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 179 of Ar-
ticle IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
of Baltimore," sub-title "Sheriff," and to amend and re-en-
