The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Caroline county to borrow money.

Also, returned

The Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the manufac-
ture and sale of oils for illuminating purposes, repealing an
Act passed January Session, 1872, chapter 135, entitled an
Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 266, entitled an Act to
regulate the manufacture and sale of oils for illuminating
purposes, passed January Session, 1872, and re-enact the
same so as to read as follows; also, an Act passed January
Session, 1870, chapter 266, entitled an Act to regulate the
manufacture and sale of oils for illuminating purposes, and
substituting in lieu of these Acts the following.

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ment:"

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

At the end of section 9 add : "Or for use in street lamps,"

On motion by Mr. Blake,
The Senate concurred in the House amendment.

And the bill, as amended, was passed by yeas and nays as
follows :
