Mr. Crawford, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill to change the place for voting in the
seventh district of Wicomico county.

Which was read the second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and re-
turned the following Senate bills,

Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 1 of an
Act passed January Session, 1872, chapter 320, entitled an
Act for the protection of black bass, and all other fish in the
Monocacy River and its tributaries, within the limits of Fred-
erick county, and to re-enact said section 1 with amendments.

The Senate bill entitled an Act relating to Testamentary
Law.

The Senate bill entitled au Act to legalize the bequest
made by William Thomas Syers, to St. Patrick's Church of
Cumberland, Allegany county, Maryland.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the County Commissioners for Harford county, to subscribe
to the capital stock of Turnpike Companies, in Harford
county.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to Daniel F.
Stouffer, of Washington county, the sum of forty dollars, paid
by him into the Treasury, on or about the 13th day of June,
1871.

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
of November Session, 1812, chapter 159, entitled an Act for
founding an University in the city or precincts of Baltimore,
by the name of the "University of Maryland," and to au-
thorize the Regents of the University of Maryland, to dis-
pose of a portion of the property held by the said University
for the use of its Faculty of Physic, and to apply the pro-
ceeds towards the erection of a Hospital for the use of said
Faculty and the School of Medicines under its direction.

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Ridge Passenger Railway
Company, passed March 22nd, 1867, chapter 331.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact sec-
tion 6 of Article VII. of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Arbitration and Award."
