The House bill entitled an Act to repeal Article IV. of the
Code of Public General Laws entitled "Aliens," and to re-
enact the same, so as to read as follows.

Mr. Phelps, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The Senate bill entitled au Act to revive and extend the
Act of January Session, 1872, chapter 420, entitled an Act
to revive, re-enact and amend certain sections of the Act of
January Session, 1852, chapter 316, entitled an Act to
authorize the appointment of a Commissioner to take testi-
mony ; to provide for the recording of copies of wills and
other papers, of which the originals were lost, by the burn-
ing of the Court House, in Dorchester county, and to remedy,
as far as practicable, the evils likely to ensue from the de-
struction of the records of said county.
