674 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 23,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1872,
chapter 260, entitled an Act to repeal section 28 (erroneously
designated as section 38 in said Act,) of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Prince George's County," sub-title "Bla-
densburg, '' also to repeal sections 29 and 30 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title 'Prince George's County," sub-
title "Bladensburg," and to amend and re-enact the same.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

The House bill entitled au Act to authorize citizens of Tal-
bot and Dorchester counties to take or catch oysters with
scoop or scrape in the waters of the Choptank River.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to erect a fire-proof addition to the building known
as the Comptroller's Office in the city of Annapolis.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the sale of
freight and baggage by Rail Road Companies and common
carrier's in certain cases.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of
chapter 476, passed at January Session, 1870, entitled an
Act to provide for the creation and regulation of Incorporat-
ed Companies in the State of Maryland, and to re-enact the
same so as to read as follows.

Which was read the first time and referred to Committee
on Corporations.

Also,

The House bill entitled au Act to repeal the Act passed at
January Session, 1872, chapter 234, entitled an Act to tax
gross receipts of Rail Road Companies in this State, for State
purposes, and to re-enact the same with amendments, and to
add the same to Article LXXXI. of the Code of Public
General Laws of this State.
