4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18,19, 20 and
21 of Article III. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Roads," passed at the Jan-
uary Session of the Legislature of 1870, chapter 309, and to
re-enact the same with amendments so as to read, as follows.

Which was read the second time.

Mr, Billingsley, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly on

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace for St. Mary's
county.

Which was read the second time.

On motion by Mr. Brattan,
The Select Committee, to which had been referred

The House bill entitled au Act to add certain sub-sections
to Article XIX. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Somerset County," under sub-title "Licenses," and to re-
peal section 138 of said Article, entitled "Somerset County,"
under sub-title "Retailers,"

Was discharged from the further consideration thereof, and
the bill referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The Committee on Judicial Proceedings were discharged
from the consideration of

The House bill entitled an Act to remove all gates from the
Public Roads in Prince George's county.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

The said bill was referred to the Committee on Internal
Improvements.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

The vote by which the Senate bill appropriating a sum of
money to Charlotte Hall School failed to pass for want of a
constitutional majority,

Was reconsidered, and the bill ordered to lie over.
Mr. Stevens, from a Select Committee, reported

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 287 of
the Acts of January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to repeal
section 810 of Article IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws,
chapter 367, passed at January Session, 1867, and to re-enact
the same with amendments,
