had been referred the Senate bill, entitled "An Act to incor-
porate the Batik of Cambridge, in Cambridge, Dorchester coun-
ty, Maryland."

Returned said bill without a report thereon, and

On motion by Mr. Brattan,
It was refered to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

Mr. Walsh, from a Select Committee, to which leave had
been granted, .reported a bill entitled "An Act to authorize
and empower the County Commissioners for Harford county,
to subscribe to the capital stock of turnpike companies in Har-
ford connty."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported a bill
entitled ''An Act relating to Auctioneers in Baltimore county.''

Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal an Act, passed at
January Session,' 1870, chapter 441, so far as the same ap-
plies to Frederick county."

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Ballti-
more," passed at January Session, 1867, chapter 424, and to
amend an Act entitled "An Act to incororporate the Potomac
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore,," passed at the January
Session, 1867, chapter 424, passed at the January Session,
1872, chapter 235.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following order:

Ordered, That three hundred copies, of the testimony and
accompanying documents, in the case of Jospeph W. Davis,
transmitted to the Senate by the Governor, be printed for the
use of the Senate.
