Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction of
the General Assembly of Maryland, to the devise and bequest
of Catharine Hoover, late of Frederick county, deceased, to
three Trustees and their successors, to be appointed by the
Virginia Annual Conference of the United Brethren Church
in Christ, and legalize the same,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to allow time to Wm. McK.
Kepler, late Clerk of Washington county, to complete the
records and other unfinished work in his office at the expira-
tion of his official time,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Aydelott, Longwell,
Blake, Lloyd,
Brewer, Mudd,
Billingsley, McCulloh,
Brattan, Steiner,
Claggett. Tuck,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor
to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace for the Ninth
Election District, and also, an additional Justice of the Peace
for the Fifteenth Election District in Frederick county,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
