Reported unfavorably on the Senate bill entitled "An Act
to authorize the County Commissiners for Fredrick county, to
revise and correct the valuation of the property in .said
county,'assessed to John W. Whitmore, George J. Himmel
and Joseph McCoskery.''
Said report was adopted.
Also,
Reported favorably on the bill entitled "An Act for the
support and treatment of indigent patients in the Baltimore
Eye. and Ear Institute for Baltimore city."
Which was read the first time.
On motion by Mr. Claggett,
Leave was granted to Messrs Claggett, Phelps and Craw-
ford to introduce a bill entitled " An Act to authorize the
Mayor and Council of Hagerstown to borrow the sum of five
thousand dollars, to pay a judgment of Nathaniel Lehner,
and a judment of J. G. Gruber, recovered against them, to
issue bonds for the payment of the same, and to levy taxes on
the assessable property of Hagerstown to redeem said bonds
and to pay the interest thereon."
Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
a bill entitled "An Act to amend the third section of the Act
of January Session 1867, chapter 268, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Baltimore Warehouse Company as amended
by the first section. of the Act of January Session 1870,
chapter 125, entitled an Act to amend the Act of January
Session 1867, chapter 268, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Baltimore Warehouse Company."
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Bratton, from the Committee on Corporations, to which
bad been referred the House bill entitled "An Act supple-
mentary to the Act to incorporate the Hannah More
Academy of Baltimore county, passed at December Session
1839, chapter 189."
Reported favorably thereon,
And said bill was read the second time.

Reported a bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Frede-
rick city Superphosphate Manufacturing Company."
