ridges in Kent county.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, reported un-
favorably on

The House bill entitled an Act for the relief of Biscoc
Adams, one of the securities on the official bond of Robert J.
Bear, former Collector of State Taxes for St. Mary's county.

On motion by Mr. Billingsley,
Further consideration of the report was postponed.
On motion by Mr. Claggett,

The Committee on Judicial Proceedings were dischaged
from the consideration of Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal
the Act of Assembly of 1870, chapter 394, relating to the
valuation and assessment of property in this State, and to
substitute the following in lieu of the second section of the
Act of 1867, chapter 341.

Mr. Claggett, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act providing for the Registra-
tion of the voters of the State, repealing the Act passed
January Session, 1870, chapter 459, entitled an Act to re-
peal an Act passed January Session, 1868, relative to Regis-
tiation of voters and to enact other provisions in lieu thereof,
and substituting the following in its stead.

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

The bill was ordered to be printed and referred to the Com-
mittee on Elections.

Mr. Claggett from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for submitting
to the voters of the State, a proposition to amend the 17th
section of Article III. of the Constitution.
