Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
(submitted the following Minority Report,

Which was read, and

On motion by Mr. Stevens,
300 copies of said Report was ordered to be printed.

Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported unfavorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 474, 475,
476 and 4.77 of Article IV., Public Local Laws, entitled
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Inspections of Lumber,"
and to authorize the Governor to appoint Inspectors of Lum-
ber for the city of Baltimore, and to regulate the Inspection
of Lumber in the city of Baltimore, and to sub-title this
Act as a new sub-title "Lumber" under said Article IV., in
the place of said sub-title, from section 474 to section 485 in-
clusive.

Mr. Blake moved to substitute the bill for the unfavorable
report, and that the report and bill be ordered to lie over.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Claggett, from the Committee on Federal Relations,
reported favorably on

The Joint Resolutions instructing the Senators, and re-
questing the Representatives in Congress from Maryland, to
use their best efforts to secure the passage of a law requiring
the National Banks to retain in their vaulte the gold interest
they may receive from the United States Government upon
the reserve, &c.

Which were read the second time.
On motion by Mr. Claggett,

The report of the Committee on the bill relating to the
City Passenger Railway Company was postponed, and

Made the order of the day for 12 o'clock to-morrow.

The Senate Joint Resolutions relating to the Fenians,

Were read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Mr. Aydelott, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
on

The House bill entitled au Act to authorize the Town Com-
missioners of Berlin, in Worcester county, to erect a guard-
house in said town.
