Mr. Stevens moved to reconsider the vote by which the
said amendment was adopted.

Which was rejected.

The order of the day, the Usury bill, again coming up,
Mr. Denson moved to postpone said order for ten minutes.
Which was adopted.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment to the
bill relating to Judges of the Orphans' Court for Baltimore
city :

After the word "city," strike out to the word "for" in the
5th line, and insert "that the Chief Judge shall receive ten
dollars, and the two Associate Judges shall receive six dol-
lars each per diem."

Which was determined in the negative.

The question being upon the engrossment of the said bill,
Mr. Fields demanding the yeas and nays,
It was determined in the negative as follows:

the day, being

Mr. Phelps' amendment to the bill entitled an Act to re-
peal Article XCV. of the Code of Public General Laws, re-
lating to Usury, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
