Kent county, against the repeal of the law in relation to
matching Fish in the head waters of the Chesapeake Bay, by
the use of stakes in setting nets.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries.

On motion by Mr. Getty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Getty, Aydelott and Spen-
cer to report a bill for the protection of Deer, in Garrett
county.

On motion by Mr. Claggett,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction
of the General Assembly of Maryland, to the devise and be-
quest of Catharine Hoover, late of Frederick county, deceas-
ed, to three Trustees and their successors, to be appointed by
the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Brethren
Church in Christ, and legalizing the same.

Mr. Phelps called up

The Senate bill entitled an Act for the protection offish in
Dorchester county.

On motion by Mr. Phelps,

Said bill was recommitted to a Select Committee, consisting
of Senators Phelps, Earle, Lloyd, Brattan and Fields.

Article XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Montgomery county," sub-title "Rockville" and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

No. 65. A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 2,
of an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
January Session 1872, chapter 2 entitled on Act regulating
