The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 292,
Article XXI. of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Wash-
ington County," sub-title "Sheriff," and to amend and re-
enact the same,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to the Act
of 1865, chapter 151, entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of'Newtown, in Worcester county, authorizing the Town
Commissioners of Newtown to build a lockup within the
limits of said town,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled au Act to allow time to William
McK. Kepler, late Clerk of Washington county, to complete
the records and other unfinished work in his office at the
expiration of his official time,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the County
Commissioners of Washington county to purchase certain
parcels of ground lying contiguous to the Court House in
said county, for the use of the said Court House,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Board of Police Commissioners for the city of Baltimore
to purchase or lease ground in said city, and to have erected
thereon suitable station houses, to have the title thereof
vested in the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, and to
pay the cost and expense thereof out of the special fund of
said Board of Police Commissioners,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
