Bishop of the Diocese of Easton, as such in the Protestant
Episcopal Church, in the United States of America, and
his successors, to hold a lot or parcel of land conveyed to
him by William Goldsboro and others, by deed dated the
thirty-first day of October, 1873,''

Arid ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled '' An Act to legalize the bequest of
Henry Rohr, late of Frederick county, deceased, to the Evan-
gelical Lutheran Congregation at Mount Zion, in Frederick
county, Maryland,'

Was read the second time,

And ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Mr. Earle called up the Joint Resolutions submitted by
himself on January 13th, relative to the life and public ser-
vice of Chief Justice Taney.

Which were read the second time.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

The rules were suspended, so as to give said resolutions a
third reading this day by yeas and nays, as follows :
