On motion by Mr. Davis,
Ordered to be printed.

Mr. Getty, from a Select Committee, to which leave had
been granted, reported a bill entitled "An Act to grant do-
nations to Garrett county, for the use of academies and
schools."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Brattan, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to "which leave had been granted, reported a bill entitled
"An Act to repeals ec. 146 of Article XVI. of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws," title "Chancery, Testimony and Wit-
nesses," authorizing Commissioners taking testimony in
Chancery, to issue attachments against witnesses neglecting
to attend the summons, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Also,

A bill entitled " An Act to authorize Heshabiah Haines,
of Carroll county, to settle his accounts as Guardian to Wm.
L. Haines, in the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, and to
deliver the estate to his said ward."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Longwell, from a Select Committee, to which had. been
referred the House bill entitled "An Act to confirm and ap-
prove an Act passed at January Session, 1872, chapter 16,"
entitled "An Act to authorize and empower the County
Commissioners for Carroll county, to subscribe to the capital
stock of turnpike companies in Carroll county."

Reported favorably thereon.

And said bill was read the second time.

Mr. Brattan, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which leave had been granted, reported a bill entitled
'' An Act to add a new section to Article LXXXV. of the
Code Public General Laws, allowing the striking out of an
order for removal, after the same has been passed."

Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled, "An Act to authorize Henry C. Lay,
