Which was read the second time.
Also, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to Nathan Haines a
sum of money erroneously paid by him into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported unfavorably on

The Senate bill entitled an Act to aid iu the establishment
of a Hospital in connection with the College of Physicians
and Surgeons of Baltimore, and to appropriate money for the
same.

Said report was ordered to lie over.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceeding
reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Board of Police Commissioners to build suitable Station
Houses out of the special fund of the said Board.

Which was read the first time.
Also, reported favorably

The House bill entitled an Act for the relief of the Central
Presbyterian Church of the city of Baltimore.

Which was read the second time.

On motion by Mr. Stevens, it was

Ordered, That the use of the Senate Chamber this evening
be granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings, for the
purpose of hearing the argument of I. Nevitt Steele, Esq.,
in relation to the Park Tax on Passenger Railroads in the
city of Baltimore.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to add sub-sections to section 28 of Article LVI. of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses," sub-
titled "Foreign Corporations and Companies."

On motion by Mr. Earle,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to repeal and re-enact section 32 of Article LVI.
of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Licenses"
sub-titled "Foreign Corporations and Companies,"
