Delegates.

The Clerk of the Rouse of Delegates appeared and deliver-
ed

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments an Act to incorporate the Preachers' Fund So-
ciety of Baltimore city.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Mr. Blake, from, the Committee on Public Buildings, re-
ported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to repair the footways and pave the streets around the
State House,

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Tuck presented the petition of Mrs. Caroline E. Lee
and others, of Anne Arundel county, protesting against the
opening of a road through the said Mrs. Lee's property.

Which was read and ordered, to lie on the table.
Mr. Davis, from a Select Committee, reported

The Senate bill entitled an Act to require all auctioneers
making sales in .Baltimore county, to pay a license fee.

Mr. Phelps, from a Select Committee, reported

A bill entitled au Act to provide for the appointment of a
Director on the part of Dorchester county, in the Dor-
chester and Delaware Rail Road Company.

Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably on

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the Arch-Bishop of Baltimore, to convey to the School Com-
missioners of Dorchester county, and their successors, a cer-
tain parcel of land.

icle XXIX. of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
