The Senate bill entitled an Act for the support and treat-
ment of indigent patients in the Baltimore Eye and Ear In-
stitute of Baltimore city and the Maryland Eye and Ear
Institute,

Being on second reading,

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,
Was postponed.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered

The House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Frederick county from issuing license to
venders of spirituous or fermented liquors within two and
one-half miles of "Brook Hill Meeting House," Frederick
county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to issue bonds to the amount not
exceeding the sum of fotir millions dollars to provide means
for introducing the water of the Gunpowder river.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to fund the floating debt of the city
of Baltimore, as authorized or existing on the 31st day of
October, 1873, to an amount not exceeding $2,000,000.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

The House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Frederick county from issuing license to ven-
ders of spirituous or fermented liquors within three miles of
postoffice at Hansonville, Frederick county
