Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

On motion by Mr. McCulloh,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 15 of an
Act entitled 'An Act to incorporate the Frostburg Water
Company,' passed at January Session, 1853, chapter 70,
limiting the capital stock to twenty thousand dollars, and to
amend and re-enact the same."

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Education to re-
port a bill entitled "An Act to provide for the purchase, con-
struction and furnishing of suitable grounds and buildings
for the State Normal School."

Mr. Davis submitted the following message to the House
of Delegates.

BY THE SENATE,

February 26th, 1874.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

The Senate has non-concurred in the House Amendments
to the Senate bill entitled "An Act to legalize the organiza-
tion of the Parkton and Manchester Rail Road Company,"
and respectfully ask a Committee of Conference on the disa-
greeing vote of the two Houses.

We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs. Davis
and Billingsley.

By order,

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of Dele-
gates.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to incorporate the town of Forestville, Prince
George's county, Maryland.

The Joint Resolutions in relation to the equipment of the
Militia of this State,

Were read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Stevens, it was
Ordered, That the bill relating to Sabbath Breaking,
