Having resumed Legislative business.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered
the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

February 26th, 1874.
Gentlemen of the Senate :

We have received your message informing us of the ap-
pointment of a Joint Committee, two on the part of the Senate
and three on the part of the House, to await on his Excellency,
the Governor elect, and request his attendance on Wednes-
day, the 4th instant, at 12 o'clock, M., in the Senate Cham-
ber to qualify according to the Constitution and form of gov-
ernment of the State, and respectfully concur therein.

We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs.
Turner, of Baltimore county, Stake and Annan.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to incorporate the Bank
of Cambridge in Cambridge, Dorchester county, Maryland."

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments."

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Amend by adding the following to come in after section 28
and to be numbered 29.

Section 29. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly
of Maryland hereby reserves to itself the right to alter,
amend and repeal this Act at pleasure.

Make section 29 of the bill section 30, and make section 30
of said bill section 31.
