Said bill was then sent to then House of Delegates.

On motion by Mr. Walsh, it was

Ordered, That Conelius Cole, son of Abraham Colo, Post-
master of the Senate, be permitted to discharge the duties of
Postmaster during the absence of his father, with out compen-
sation.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal chapter 233 of
the Act of 1870, entitled 'An Act to repeal section 9 of Arti-
cle XXVIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating
to the publication of county expenses, so far as the same re-
lates to Caroline county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments,"

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

The Senate bill entitled "An Act supplementary to the
Act of 1870, chapter 213, making an additional appropria-
tion to Washington Cemetery, in Washington county,"

Was taken up and postponed until to-morrow, and made
the order of the day for 12 o'clock.

On motion by Mr. Brewer,
The Senate proceeded to Executive Session.
