dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to amend the Act of Jan-
uary Session, 1872, chapter 54, by repealing section 16 of
said Act, and amending and re-enacting the same,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Walsh,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Walsh, Brewer and Steiner
to introduce a bill to provide for the payment of a county fee
for the killing of Hawks in Harford county.

The Hon. C. J. Penington having appeared and delivered
a communication from the Executive,

Endorsed "Executive Business,"

On motion by Mr. Brattan,
The Senate proceeded to Executive Session,
Having resumed Legislative Business,

The Senate bill entitled "An Act s upplementary to an
Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Ridge Passenger Rail-
way Company, passed March 22nd, 1867, chapter 331,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled ''An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to Charlotte Hall School,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate proceeded to Executive Session,

Having resumed Legislative Business,

Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Earle until Monday
Evening.

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to empower the Frede-
rick and Pennsylvania Line Rail Road Company to lease its
road."
