392 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 26,

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county, to build a bridge over
Wetipquin Creek in Wicomico county."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Tuck, from a Select Committee reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to authorize the Board of
County Commissioners of Anne Arundel county, to build a
bridge over Beard's Creek in said county."

Which was read the first time.

Also, repoted favorably

The "Senate bill entitled "An Act to provide for the restor-
ation of certain ancient records in the officer of the Register
of Wills of Anne Arundel county."

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to appropriate a sum of
money to enable the Directors of the Maryland Institution for
the instruction of the blind, to pay off an indebtedness against
that Institution,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 15 of
Article XXIX. of the Code of Public General Laws, and re-
enact the same,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 1 and
7 of Article XXXVI. of the Code of Public General Laws,
title 'Estrays, and Vessels adrift," and to re-enact the same
with amendments,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to protect rabbits, par-
tridges and insectivorous birds in Baltimore county,"

Being on second reading,

Mr. Davis submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Strike out all after the word "the" on the 7th line, section
3, to the end of the section, and add the words "Treasurer of
said county."

Which was adopted.
