SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

CHAPTER 487.

 

AN ACT to create a new election district in Prince

 

George's county, to be known as district number

 

twelve.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

New district

Maryland, That a new district be formed and laid

formed.

out in Prince George's county, to be composed of

 

parts of Piscataway and Spalding's District, to be

 

known as district number twelve, whose metes and

 

bounds shall be as follows :

 

Beginning at the boundary between the District

Beginning.

of Columbia and Prince George's county, at the

 

ferry, and running with the river to Broad Creek ;

 

thence with said creek to J. W. Webster's, leaving

 

said Webster's in Piscataway District ; thence with

 

the road leading from said Webster's to the late

Metes and

John Palmer's house; thence with the Marlboro

bounds

road leading from Palmer's to the new road by Tem-

 

ple's Mill, it intersects Grimes' Cross-Roads, leading

 

to Silver Hill Post-Office ; from thence in a straight

 

line to a point on the district line, on the farm of

 

Col. Maddox, and thence with said district line to

 

the ferry.

Voting place.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the voting place or

 

polls in said district shall be held at Oxen Hill.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from and after the first day of May, eighteen
