pany, commission merchants, the sum of six hundred

 

and seven dollars and ninety-five cents, for moneys

 

erroneously paid by them to tobacco inspectors in

 

Baltimore, and to Townsend, French and Company,

 

commission merchants, the sum of twenty-seven hun-

 

dred and seventy-six dollars and twenty-five cents,

 

for moneys erroneously paid by them to tobacco in-

 

spectors in Baltimore city, said sum or sums of

 

money to be paid out of any moneys in the Treasury,
not otherwise appropriated, standing to the credit of

 

the tobacco fund.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

 

Approved April 11th, 1874.

 

CHAPTER 448.

 

AN ACT to add additional sections to the act of

 

eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter ninety-

 

eight, entitled an act to repeal the act of incorpo-

 

ration of Mechanicstown, Frederick county, Mary-

 

land, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. And be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the president of the commissioners
