350 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 24,

Claggett, Davis, Denson, Earle, Getty, Knight, Long-
well, Mudd, Phelps, Stevens, Steiner, Suit, Tuck, Walsh—19.

The proceedings of Friday last were read and approved.

Mr. Blake presented the petition of Margaret Dinsmore,
widow of Thomas Dinsmore, a soldier of the war of 1812, ask-
ing to be placed on the pension list.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Also,

The petitions of Ellen Masson, widow of William Massou,
Eliza Harman, widow of Daniel Harman, Ann G. Davis,
widow of Abraham Davis, soldiers of the war of 1812, ask-
ing to be placed on the pension roll.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Denson presented the petition of the Little Sisters of
the Poor.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance.

Mr. Davis presented the petition of William F. Walker,
and over two hundred other mechanics and workingmen, ask-
ing the passage of the House bill repealing the present Attach-
ment Law,

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. Billingsley presented the petition of Caleb M. Jones,
a physician in the war of 1812, asking a pension.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Denson presented the petitions of Elizabeth A. Tarr,
widow of William H. Tarr, Ann E. Fisher, widow of John
Fisher, Sarah Brown, widow of Thomas Brown, soldiers of
the war of 1812, asking to be placed on the pension roll.

Which were read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Billingsley presented the petition of Ann Bailey, widow
of a soldier of the war of 1812, asking to be placed on the pen-
sion roll.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Stevens presented the following memorial in the matter
of the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company, asking for a
reduction of the "Park Tax,"
