On motion by Mr. Blake,

The vote by which the resolutions failed to pass was recon-
sidered.

On motion by Mr. Earle,

The resolutions were postponed until Wednesday next, and
made the order of the day for 1 o'clock.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal section 12 of
Article XXIX. of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
county, sub-title 'Almshouse,' and re-enact the same with
amendment,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered

The House bill entitled "Au Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claims of W. L. Pfeiffer, James E. Tate,
John Himelhever, George W. Murdoch, J. E. Hayden and
Benjamin F. Cronin."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Mr. Stevens, from a Select Committee, reported favorably

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to enlarge and extend
the powers of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the
city of Baltimore."

Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.

On motion by Mr. Billingsley,
The Senate adjourned.

TUESDAY, February 24th, 1874.

The Senate met.
