CHAPTER 430.
AN ACT authorizing the county commissioners, if,
in the exercise of a wise and sound discretion on
their part, and looking to the best interest of all
the people of Baltimore county, they shall think it
advisable to do so, to invest a certain amount of
money belonging to said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Balti-

lars of the money of said county, arising from the
sale of the property heretofore belonging to said
county, and known as the Baltimore county "Alms-
House Property," in the first mortgage bonds of the Parkton and Manchester Railroad Company now is-
sued or which may hereafter be issued by said com-
pany.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That no part of the money-
authorized by this act to be invested, shall be applied	'Not to be ap- plied.

railroad company.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.	In force

CHAPTER 431.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to refund
to Rev. John B. de Wolff, State taxes paid in error.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be

his warrant upon the Treasurer in favor of Rev. John
B. de Wolff, for fourteen dollars and forty-three cents.	Directed to draw warrant.
