should said swine be claimed by the owner or owners.

 

thereof, he, she or they shall pay twenty-five cents

 

for every day said swine has been impounded, to-

 

gether with the fine and costs as prescribed in the

 

first section of this act, and in default of payment of

 

the said fine and impounding fee, the said swine

 

may be sold to satisfy the same.

 

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the fine imposed

 

and collected under this article shall be applied, one

CHAPTER 421.

 

AN ACT to add sub-sections to article two, of the

 

Code of Public Local Laws, title Anne Arundel

 

county, sub-title Annapolis, to provide a Board

 

of Police Commissioners for Annapolis city.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the following sub-sections be and

 

they are hereby added to article two, of the Code of

 

Public Local Laws, title Anne Arundel county, sub-

Repealed

title Annapolis, and all sections or parts of sections

 

relating to Annapolis, inconsistent with the pro-

 

visions of the following sub-sections, are hereby re-

 

pealed and declared inoperative, and all powers and

 

provisions in the charter and code of said city, in

 

reference to police are also hereby repealed.

 

SUB-SECTION A. On the first Monday of May,
