LAWS OF MARYLAND.

May allow.

SUB-SECTION 1. And be it further enacted, That the

 

county commissioners of said county may, in the ex-

 

ercise of a careful, wise and sound discretion, and of

 

a scrutinizing judgment on their part, allow the

 

sheriff of said county such further compensation for

 

serving bench warrants and attachments, and per-

 

forming extra duty, as may seem to them right and

 

proper, and a fair and reasonable compensation for

 

such services ; provided, however, that before said

of any kind, other than those fees allowed in article
