SEC. 158. The property, real and personal, of all	Shall pay an-

CHAPTER 409.
AN ACT to repeal section one hundred and ninety-
three, of article three of the Code of Public Local
Laws, of Baltimore county, sub-title " Sheriff,"
passed at the January session of the Legislature in
the year eighteen hundred and seventy-two, chap-
ter fifty-nine, and to re-enact the same so as to
read as follows:
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of	Repealed and
Maryland, That section one hundred and ninety-	re-enacted.
three, of article three, of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Baltimore county, sub-title "Sheriff," passed
at the January session of the Legislature of Mary-
land, in the year eighteen hundred and seventy-two,
chapter fifty-nine, be and the same is hereby repealed
and re-enacted so as to read as follows :
SEC. 193. The Sheriff of Baltimore county shall
be allowed two dollars and fifty cents a day for each	Allowance to sheriff.
day he shall attend the Circuit Court for said county,
in person or by deputy, when said court is actually
in session, and shall be entitled to charge and receive
the sum of forty cents, and no more, per day for
keeping and boarding each prisoner committed to or
confined in the jail of said county; this part of this
act to take effect and go into operation at, upon and
immediately after the expiration of the term of office
of the present Sheriff of said county.
