AN ACT for the benefit of Emeline Redue, widow

 

of Joseph Redue, Soloman Scott and John V.

SECTION 1. Se it enacted by Hie General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That the State Treasurer, upon the war-

instalments of twenty dollars, to Emeline Redue,

 

widow of Joseph Redue, a soldier in the war of

 

eighteen hundred and twelve, Solomon Scott and

 

John V. Soloway each of whom were also soldiers

 

in said war, during the term of their natural lives,

 

the said sum of eighty dollars, to be paid as aforesaid

 

to each of said persons ; provided, that the Comp-

date of this act, to file with him an affidavit of two

 

creditable witnesses, and the certificate of the

 

County Commissioners of Kent county, or of any

city, if a resident of said city, setting forth that the

 

affiants are acquainted with the claimants ; that said

 

claimant is a bona fide resident of the State and was

 

at the time said service was rendered, he or she is the

 

identical person entitled to said pension, and the

 

claimant is in indigent circumstances.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
