taken and killed within the limits of said county
since the passage of this act; and such hunter or
huntsmen shall deliver to said justice said brush or
brushes, who shall forthwith entirely destroy the
same, and give to such person or persons a certificate
for the same, showing the number of foxes killed by
such person or persons ; which said certificate shall
be sufficient evidence for the county Commissioners
of said county, to pay the amount specified in said
certificate; provided, that such person or persons	Proviso.
shall also make oath before said justice of the peace,
that he or they are the owner or keeper, or has in
his or their charge and keeping, at least four hounds;
provided further, however, that no person or persons
killing a fox pursued by hounds, attended by a
huntsman or huntsmen other than such huntsman or
huntsmen, shall be entitled to the aforesaid reward ;
and that the oath herein required shall conform to
this proviso, and that the owner of the dog first
mouthing the fox, shall be entitled to the compensa-
tion under this act.

CHAPTER 328.
AN ACT to repeal section four hundred and sixty-
nine, of the act of eighteen hundred and sixty-four
chapter three hundred and twenty eight, entitled
" Live Stock," and re-enact the same as amended.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section four hundred and sixty-nine,	Repealed and
of the act of eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chap-	re-enacted
ter three hundred and twenty-eight, relating to "Live
Stock," be and the same is hereby repealed, and
re-enacted so as to read as follows :
