Gentlemen of the Senate:

We propose with the concurrence of your Honorable Body
to appoint a Joint Committee of two of the Senate and three
the House to visit and inspect the House of the "Good
Shepherd," the House of the "Colored Oblate Sisters" of
Baltimore, and the "St. Vencient's Orphans' Asylum," and
we name on the part of the House Messrs, Lancaster, Mc-
Aleese and McWilliams. '
