Mr. Tuck submitted the following amendment :

Insert after the word "audit," in the 4th section, 11th line,
"presentation of an itemized account, with a voucher, and
the certificate of the Board."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and or-
dered to be engrossed for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled "An Act to establish a Board of
Public Charities,"

Being on second reading,

Mr. Fields moved to refer the bill to the Committee on Ju-
dicial Proceedings.

Which was adopted.

Senate bill entitled "An Act to repeal sections 51 and 52 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Prince George's,'
under head of Collectors,' enacted at January Session, 1868,
chapter 330, and sections 47 and 48 of said Article XVI., en-
acted at January Session, 1872, chapter 294, and re-enact the
following as sections 47, 48, 51 and 52 of said Article XVI.
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled 'Prince George's
County,' under the head of 'Collectors,' in their stead,"

Being on second reading,

Mr. Suit moved to postpone the further consideration of the
bill until the 26th instant, and make it the order of the day
for 1 o'clock.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Denson presented the petition of five hundred and
twenty-two mechanics and workingmen, asking the passage
of the bill introduced by Mr. Fenton, in the House known as
the "attachment law

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

Mr. McCulloh presented the petition of six hundred and nine
mechanics and workmen in favor of the passage of the ''at-
tachment law," the bill introduced by Mr. Fenton in the
House.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.
