merely an outline map with. no reference to the
nature or typography of the lands, and many of the
lots were even neglected to be numbered; and said
map is now very old and much defaced and useless
for the kind of information generally sought for, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Land Office	Preamble
highly approves and desires the preparation of such
a map as indicated, and states that it will be of great
present and future value to the citizens of the State,
therefore —
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of	Have map

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the sum of six

AN ACT to provide for making a survey of the
counties of Allegany and Garrett, for the purpose
of ascertaining the number of square miles each
contains.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
