CHAPTER 321.

AN ACT to add an additional section to article

three of the Code of Public Local, Laws, title
|
 
|
"Baltimore County," sub-title " Collectors."

Additional

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

Maryland, That the following section be added to
|

article three, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
|
 
|
"Baltimore County," sub-title "Collectors," to be
|
 
|
numbered sixty-five.
|
Taxes due and

65. All taxes shall be due and collected from and
|

immediately after the first of September, after the
|
 
|
the levy for the same shall have been signed by the
|
 
|
County Commissioners ; provided the same abate-
|
 
|
ment shall be allowed for the prompt payment of all
|
 
|
county taxes for roads and public schools as now al-
|
 
|
lowed, or as may hereafter be allowed by law, for
|
 
|
the prompt payment of State taxes.

CHAPTER 322.
|
 
|
AN ACT to authorize the Commissioner of the
|
 
|
Land Office to have prepared, for the use of the
|
 
|
Land Office, a map of those portions of Garrett
|
 
|
and Allegany counties which contain the four
|
 
|
thousand and odd fifty acre lots, granted by the
|
 
|
State of Maryland to the officers and soldiers of
|
 
|
the war of the Revolution, with the adjoining
|
 
|
tracts of land which have been from time to time
|
 
|
sold by the State, showing the general typography
|
 
|
and characteristics of said county, its rivers, roads
|
 
|
and principal settlements, and indicating the
|
 
|
principal escheats since their location.

WHEREAS, The map prepared and returned by
|
 
|
Deakins, at the time said lots were laid off, was
|
