person selling any kind of intoxicating drinks,

within the above described limits, shall on conviction
|
 
|
thereof, be subject to the fines and penalties pre-
|
 
|
scribed by the Code of Public General Laws of
|
 
|
Maryland, for selling spirituous or fermented liquors
|
 
|
without license.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
 
|
effect from and after the first day of May, eighteen
|

AN ACT authorizing and directing the State Libra-

rian to furnish to the Faculty of Law of the Uni-

versity of Maryland, certain law books from the
|
 
|
State Library.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the State Librarian be and he is
|

hereby authorized and directed to cause to be trans-
|
transmitted
|
mitted to the Faculty of Law of the University of
|
 
|
Maryland, for the use of the law department of said
|
 
|
University, one copy of the Maryland Reports, from
|
 
|
volume one to thirty-seven inclusive, Johnson's Ma-
|
 
|
ryland Chancery Reports, and Alexander's British
|
 
|
Statutes ; and a set of the digests of the Maryland
|
 
|
Reports by Norris, Brown, and Brune; Merrick,
|
 
|
Miller, and Stockett; and Cohen and Lee.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
|
 
|
effect after the date of its passage.
