2, B. Every child bound under the provisions of

|
this article shall, if a male, be bound until he arrives
|
 
|
at the age of twenty-one years, or if a female, the
|
 
|
age of eighteen years ; and said trustees shall in all
|
 
|
cases make it a part of the contract on the part of the
|
 
|
master or mistress of such apprentice that he or
|
 
|
she shall give such apprentice reasonable education
|
 
|
in reading, writing and arithmetic, and also teach
|
 
|
said apprentice, especially if a male, some useful art
|
 
|
or trade, and in all cases supply suitable clothing and
|
 
|
maintenance.
|
Jurisdiction.
|
2. C. The Orphan's Courtfor Allegany county shall
have full jurisdiction over all such cases of appren-
|
 
|
ticeship in the manner prescribed by sections one,
|
 
|
two, three, four and five of article six of the Code of
|
 
|
Public General Laws.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all acts or
|

pealed.

AN ACT to prohibit the Clerk of the Circuit Court

of Frederick county, from issuing license to

venders of spirituous, vinous or malt liquors within
|
 
|
three miles of Post-office at Hansonville, Fred-
|
 
|
erick county.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|

Maryland, That the Clerk of the Circuit Court of

Frederick county, shall not grant a license to any
|
 
|
person or persons, to sell spirituous, vinous or malt
|
 
|
liquors of any kind, at any time or place, within
|
 
|
three miles of the Post-office, in the village of
|
 
|
Hansonville, Frederick county, Maryland, and any
